Toro y Moi Reveals New Album Unusua

In October, Toro y Moi premiered the supposedly one-off, piano-driven single “Proof.” Turns out it’s part of a new self-produced album called Unusua. Not much is known about the seven-track LP, which quietly appeared on Chaz Bear’s Bandcamp page in recent days, but Pitchfork has confirmed it’s out November 20. You can listen to “Proof” below.

Earlier this year, Toro y Moi released an acoustic version of his 2025 album Hole Erth and opened for Haruomi Hosono on the latter’s Stateside dates.
