13 Best Early Black Friday Deals at Best Buy on Hot Tech (2026)

Even though Black Friday is still more than three weeks away, retailers are already rolling out holiday discounts, making this a good time to get a head start on your wish list before items sell out. This is especially useful if you (like me) have a pre-Thanksgiving birthday in your household, or just want to have something before the holiday, like headphones to tune out your family on the ride to relatives’ house, or an espresso machine to impress your in-laws with a post-dinner cappuccino.

Every deal below is on an item a WIRED reviewer has tested and can personally vouch for being worth your money. For more great discounts, check out our Best Early Black Friday Deals, as well as early discounts on smart bird feeders, mattresses, and espresso machines.

Samsung

Galaxy Z Fold8 256 GB (Unlocked)

Samsung’s interesting, brand-new Galaxy Z Fold8 (8/10, WIRED Review) unfurls into a 7.6-inch display for wide-view typing and multitasking. WIRED reviewer Julian Chokkattu actually prefers this model to the pricier Fold8 Ultra ($2,032), praising its easier-to-open hinge and declaring it just nicer to use in every way.

Trendy Headphones

Though the bass-forward Beats Studio Pro (7/10, WIRED Recommends) come in a range of fun colors, including navy, brown, and gray, the plain black ones are on sale for $109 off right now. They offer easy pairing with both Apple and Android devices, as well as head tracking for spatial audio.

A Windows Laptop We Recommend

Microsoft

Surface Laptop 13.8-Inch (7th Edition)

WIRED reviewer Luke Larsen likes this well-equipped laptop with its Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chip and generously sized, 120-Hz refresh rate display. The battery life is excellent, and while it’s not quite as sharp as a Macbook, it’s a great value and upgrade over similarly equipped Windows laptops.

If you’re looking for a TV under $1,000, the TCL QM6K QLED (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is your best bet, at a hefty $400 off. Former WIRED reviewer Ryan Waniata calls it “a versatile display that does just about everything well, from naturalistic colors to rich black levels and impressive clarity.” It’s even got a 144-Hz refresh rate if you plan to use it for gaming.

Our Favorite Headphones

Sony

WH-1000XM6 Noise-Canceling Headphones

These are the best wireless headphones we’ve ever tested, featuring some of the best noise canceling you can buy paired with 30 hours of battery power. They’re the latest in the lineup, with a new, smaller case and memory foam-augmented folding ear cups that make them easy to travel with.

Great Earbuds for Traveling

Sony

WF-1000XM5 True Wireless Noise-Canceling Earbuds

These earbuds weigh just 5.5 grams per bud—25 percent smaller and 20 percent lighter than the previous model. Our reviewer loved them for their detailed and balanced sound, though he did find the noise canceling and call quality to be underwhelming. If you prioritize musical detail over bass, however, this sale makes them an excellent option to grab for your holiday travels.

A Crowd-Pleasing Espresso Machine

Breville

Barista Express

The best semiautomatic espresso machine for most people, according to our reviewer, this longtime WIRED favorite has been in use by reviewer Julian Chokkattu for seven years. We love its consistent pressure, steam wand, and built-in grinder, as well as the all-metal construction that’s easy to clean. Buy it now and impress your in-laws at Thanksgiving with espresso martinis and latte art.

The Smartest Android Phone

The new Google Pixel 11 is only a minor upgrade over last year’s Pixel 10, which is still a solid phone with its 5X telephoto lens, magnetic Qi2 wireless charging, and impressive seven years of software support from launch. Note that this early deal is on unlocked 128-GB models in Indigo (shown) and Frost.

A Pretty OLED Gaming Monitor

Samsung

Odyssey G6 OLED Gaming Monitor

Samsung makes some of the best gaming monitors, and this model is one of our top picks. Get all the gaming out of your system before the holidays on this 360-Hz refresh rate screen that displays deep blacks and rich, accurate colors. These qualities that also make this an excellent pick for graphic design and video editing. Its high price was one of our reviewer’s main complaints, so if you’ve been in the market, consider this your lucky day.

Track Your Holiday Stress

Given the Oura Ring 5 release this year, it’s no surprise that the previous Oura Ring 4 is seeing some deep holiday discounts. While our reviewer loves the 5’s slimmer, more lightweight design, I actually prefer the chunky look of the 4, which I bought at Best Buy last year (for $100 more than this sale price) and can report is still going strong. Note that the $249 deal is only on the matte black and silver colorways.

Keep Your Holiday Guests Connected

Google

Nest Wifi Pro 6e

Google’s Nest Wifi Pro 6E router (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is easy to set up and manage through the Google Home app, and WIRED reviewer Simon Hill found its coverage to be reliable during simultaneous gaming, streaming, and video calls. (Note that this deal is on one unit only, despite the two shown in the picture.)

A Gaming Mouse

Corsair

Scimitar Elite Wireless SE

Not done gaming before the holidays? This is a good gaming mouse to consider, according to our reviewer, with Stream Deck integration and longer battery life than its predecessor. It’s not the lowest price we’ve seen, but it’s still pretty solid if you’re planning on buying one to relieve stress pre-holiday.

A Wallet-Friendly Chromebook

Acer

Chromebook Plus 516

This is WIRED reviewer Luke Larsen’s top Chromebook pick, offering solid everyday performance and a responsive touchpad. Its Intel Core i3 processor and 8 GB of RAM make it a practical choice for browsing and working in Google Docs, though you’ll have to compromise on color accuracy.
